Material 1.4507
Duplex Superduplex
"The material 1.4507 is an austenitic ferritic stainless steel. The material belongs to the group of super duplex steels. The two-phase structure brings together the positive properties of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. These properties are reflected in the good corrosion resistance and the high strength values. The Material in the chemical industry, in the oil and gas industry, on and offshore industry, paper industry. The Pren value for the material 1.4507 is over 40%.The Pren value indicates how corrosion-resistant a stainless steel is to corrosion. From a Pren- With a value of 32, the material is considered resistant to seawater. The Pren value is calculated using the formula: %Cr + 3.3XMo + 16x%N. 1.4507 has a density of 7.81 (g/cm³)."
