Heat Treatment
Soft annealing (+A) at 650 - 700 C°
Case hardening at 880 - 980 C°, cooling in oil, polymer
Direct hardening at 880 - 980 C°, cooling in oil, polymer
Core hardening at 860 - 900 C°, cooling in oil, polymer
Case hardening at 780 - 820 C°, cooling in oil, polymer
Temper at 150 - 200 C°, cooling in the air
Weldability
The material 1.7131 is usually weldable.
