Applications
1.6657 is often used for turbines and engine parts.
Heat Treatment
Soft annealing at 620 - 650 C°, slow controlled furnace cooling at 10 to 20 C° per hour
until approx. 600 C° are reached, after which further cooling takes place in the air.
Hardening and tempering at 150 - 200 C°, cooling in air.
