The material 1.5920 is a chrome-nickel case-hardening steel. 1.5920 is used for highly stressed parts such as shafts or bolts. 1.5920 achieves good strength and toughness.

Heat Treatment
Soft annealing (+A) 650 - 700 C°
Treat to hardening range (+TH) 850 - 950 C°
Treat on ferrite perlite structure and hardening range (+FP) 900 - 1000 C°
Weldability
The material 1.5920 is weldable.
