The grade 1.4057 is a martensitic stainless steel.
1.4057 is mainly supplied in the quenched and tempered condition.
In the quenched and tempered condition, the tensile strength at room temperature is between 800 and 950 N/mm², the yield strength is at least 600 N/mm².
The nickel content gives the material X17CrNi16-2 its toughness.
We stock 1.4057 in round and flat dimensions. If you need tubes or forgings, this is also no problem.
